I have had a cellphone account with Autopage since 1996 and have never experienced such bad service.
Whilst away in Clarens on 2nd December 2012 we experienced a lightning strike in the area which resulted in a power surge which fried my Blackberry bold and charger.
On the 3rd Dec 2012 I gave the phone in at your clearwater branch and was told that the phone had to bve sent away to be assessed. At the same time I filled in insurance claim docs in case the phone had to be replaced.
I was told that I would have feedback ASAP or within 7 working days as to what would happen with my handset.
When I returned from holiday, still having had no feedback on the 31st Dec 2012 I went into the branch and was told that my phone was at the service centre but nobody could tell me wether it would be repaired, replaced etc.
When I ask to speak to somebody at Autopage I was put through to a person who said that all they could do was email the repair center and wait for a response. In this date and age there are no direct lines or someone to talk to!!!
I was then told to read the FINEPRINT in my contract because it could take 6 weeks.
To date I still have had NO feedback
