I hav e been trying to migrate my number to prepaid. MTN conveniently only accepts migrations to prepaid thru their retentions department mon-fri 8-5 despite having a 24/7 callcenter aswell as a sales call center thats open till late. No email process or online service on their "state of the art "MTN Active.
So today once I got a chance to get through I get informed that I have already been billed for this months airtime and the Invoice cannot be cancelled but if they process the migration I will loose the airtime.
I this is an Unethical attempt to retain customers by making this simple process excruciatingly difficult.
THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY ITS ABOUT MORALS AND ETHICS AND THE FACT THAT A LARGE COMPANY LIKE MTN FAIL TO AUTOMATE A SIMPLE PROCESS SOLEY FOR FINANCIAL GAIN.
