Hi my name is Bruce. I have had my SONY XPERIA for 6 months. It constantly overheated and now the screen has cracked whilst in my pocket but neither Sony nor my service provider MTN wants to take responsibility for the flaw. The phone did not fall and the crack is a fine hairline crack.. I was rather quoted the amount of R3800 to repair. This is obvious a design flaw and have read there are many other people out there having the same problem with the SONY XPERIA. I would like Sony to take responsibility for its products flaws. What is worse is when I got the phone back after I rejected the quote the job card states "WARRANTY CEASED! PHYSICAL ABUSE". If there are more SONY XPERIA users with the same screen problem let us make the Consumer Council aware of the below standard product being sold to the South African public.
