I went in for my upgrade on the 17th January and selected a package out of the ADVERTISED pamphlet, and the sales person gladly accepted my upgrade for the Samsung Galaxy Pocket and the Samsung LED TV. The Galaxy pocket is about the furthest option for a phone I would take as its so entry level but its a good deal as I don't have the money for a TV and our recently broke and we are now sitting WITHOUT a TV. We were told it would take 1 - 2 weeks, there was no mention whatsoever of a shortage of stock. Well 2 weeks passed without a word from MTN and still no TV, but here I am using my entry level phone for R200 a month, so we phoned in and were told we would be contacted. Well noone bothered to contact us. We have had to do ALL the liasing to get a TV promised to us and signed for, with MTN doing NOTHING to help. Now we get a call saying there is no stock and they don't know when we will get the TV. Its this simple. Either confirm that the TV is on its way as advertised, or give us a cheque to buy the same model at Game, or the phone will be returned and the contract cancelled. I have NO problem handing this issue over to my attorney whatsoever.
