Simple warranty claim made so difficult

I took my phone to CellC Pavillion on the 23rd of November, which is covered by an extended warranty I pay for every month. CellC kept on arguing this, but eventually found on their system that they don't know how to operate that it was. They then sent in my phone for repairs, but never sent the paperwork along according to their service centre who quoted me for repairs. After arguing with them once again they found out that it is covered. Eventually once all this was sorted out, someone contacted me on the 6th of December indicating that my phone is being repaired and I can collect it from the Pavillion store on the 13th of December.

It is now the 17th of December, the store states my phone has been sent to Samsung and that repairs take at MINIMUM 21 working days. Lebo from the Repairs department told me that there was no record of the person who phoned me and that they didn't even add anything on their work notes so they can't trace this. She assured me that she would get to the bottom of this and let me know by end of business today what happened. Nothing... Didn't really expect anything to be honest.

Why is such a simple thing made so difficult?
