On the 09/12/2013 I applied for a top up contract online and was called by a call centre agent named Gloria Shumba. I requested a Blackberry Z10 on top up 100.on the 11/12/2013 i was suprised to receive two phones of the same make instead of one. I proceeded to call mtn direct call centre to solve the issue, however i was advised by the agent i talked to that the only person who will be able to cancel the extra phone was the person who activated it (Gloria Shumba). I made numerous calls to the centre looking for Gloria to no avail. Finally another agent advised me to take the extra phone to any mtn direct store. I took the phone to Brooklyn mall Mtn direct store and was assisted by a very helpful and friendly Nikiwe.
I have now received a statement from MTN showing that i will be billed for two phones instead of one. Why should i pay for mistakes made by MTN's incompetent employees?
