1 week with out any service

On the 11 December I signed up with 8 ta, on that day I decided that I'd like to keep my number. I was informed that this would take 24 hours. On that Friday the number still belonged to MTN. I sent emails requesting for the change. That afternoon number still wasn't ported. On that Saturday I realised around 7pm my MTN sim was blocked. So the number was ported till today I have no service my not sure if you know how embarrassing it is for people to be contacting on your mothers number this has cause much inconvenience to me. I was informed that I will be charged from the time a signed for the contract I don't believe I should be charge until I actually am able to use your network. Can someone that knows how to sign up a new client contact me regards to this I want my contract to be redrawn and I need service to be activated to my number. PLEASE NOTE I HAVE NO NETWORK ON MY PHONE SO I CANNOT BE REACHED ON MY PHONE.
