Poor level of customar service

Upgraded cell contract when convinced by Vodacom direct agent. Battery of phone failed within 3 months. On taking it to vodashop, I was told that I overcharged the battery and have to buy a new one. The new battery is still OK but, the phone does not charge since 05/12/2013.
Vodashop sent it for repairs twice. It was not repaired because firstly a generic battery in phone, Secondly because they could sense a generic battery was used. Two quotes was text to me for the repairs. R603.95 and R797.76. I refused to accept as the battery was supplied by Vodacom.
I escalated the matter to repairs escalations and was not yet contacted. the manageress at the shop says that the agent who supplied the battery must pay for the repairs. I am getting nowhere with this matter and are holding Vodacom responsible.
