I queried about my telkom line and to get the amount that is out standing on it. I asked them if i pay the whole amount will they reconnect my internet line again. Thy told me yes i just need to phone them after i made the payment. I paid a full amount and gave them a call. The lady that helped me told me i need to fax through the proof of payment and then she will reconnect my internet after 2 hours. 4 hours went passed and still no internet connection. so i phone telkom again and after holding on for 30 min i finally got through and they all of a sudden told me that i need to wait 48 hour before they will reconnect my internet and as today is a Friday and they don't work on weekend. my internet will maybe be switch back on next week and Wednesday. I see this as highly unfair. Last time i waited not even an hour before my internet was on and now i need to wait almost 7 days!!! after two ladies gave me different waiting periods. You requesting payment immediately but we as the customer must wait until it suites you to reconnect ones services. This is highly unprofessional for telkom. I AM Requesting immediately clarity on this issue!!!
