UPDATED ACCOUNT BUT IT WILL TAKE UP TO 48 HOURS

My line was cut due to my bill not being paid. I made payment, but had to phone the accounts department 3 times before it was reconnected - however, my adsl line was not reconnected (even though it is the same no.).
I called in and they told me they were sorry but it could take up to 48 hours to reconnect! In this day and age it is difficult to believe that it can take so long. I explained it was a business internet service and asked to speak to a supervisor. The lady asked if she could first see if she could assist, when I told her the problem, she told me there was nothing they could do to help. I told her the only thing I could do was go to another service provider like Mweb. She apologized. I find it unacceptable in this day and age we cannot reconnect immediately, and more importantly why is it that you can NEVER speak to management at Telkom??? They sit in the clouds getting paid a fortune and hiding behind closed doors! THIS IS NOT SERVICE!! Do you know what its like WASTING THE WHOLE MORNING trying to get your lines sorted and wasting precious time!!! I get hot and flustered just thinking that I MAY have to call Telkom! Theyre meant to be offering a service-not so?
