I recently tried to apply for a contract with Telkom Mobile. I did so online, but received no response. I then used the "call me back" function on the website, after which they returned my call 3 hours later, and proceed to go through the whole signup process again. This was due to them being unable to find my information on the system I had just signed up on. I followed the long and tedious signup process once more and the agent told me she would call me back and she did. my application was then pending upon receiving a call back. I then did not hear from them for 3 days. I then went to the Kolonnade branch (in the interim I had called the Telkom Mobile helpline only to find that my details were not on their system). The employees at the Kolonnade branch were so negative and rude. While I was waiting at least 2 customers left disappointed and frustrated. The employees claimed the system was down (FOR A TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANY OH MY WORD). Anyway, I had to reapply, and the gentleman told me I would receive a call back before close of business. It's been two days. So I ask you, what the heck is going on?
