So been having trouble with VODACOM for the last couple of months, so eventually got a call from someone in the regional sales manager's office, gist of the conversation, (after checking my monthly average Rands paid... Not a big spender) (me that is). My words " so what you're saying is that after almost 20 years of being with you guys there is nothing you can do for me and I shud just go to another provider." His response "Yes, go to any of them except... brand name... as he has personal experience of how inefficient their billing dept is. O.M.G I wish I had recorded this conversation. Think of all the sales courses I cud have sold it to. How to lose customers in under a minute. Put the phone down and did not know whether to laugh or cry.
