MTN Incompetence 10 out of 10

MTN allowed 2 top-up contracts to be opened on my name. I became aware of this when a very vague email was sent to me. I called MTN, and subsequently had to fax a police affidavit & copy of ID to 0837057171 (3/12/13). I called and they confirmed receipt of these. Today, a week later, I get an SMS saying that they don't have the copy of my ID and the police stamp on affidavit is unclear. I phoned in. The first time, my 4 digit MTN pin was apparently 'missing' and I needed to provide it again. WOW MTN can loose my security pin? I got through to Alice (who sent me the sms with REF 7404848). I then had to get hold of her again, to no avail. Cust service agents didn't know what to do!! The reference number apparently was useless, every time I was passed through to sales the call was killed, people couldn't tell me where I could find Alice, and they didn't take the initiative to check the system for the SMS that was sent to me. What was very apparent, is they did seem happy to tell me what I am 'required' to do before they are able to assist me. This is ironic as I did everything that was required of me, and just wanted to get hold of the person who was helping me already!
