I upgraded to Alice Lane on 24/06/2013 at a rate of R574 (as per signed agreement). After receiving an email noting that my gym benefit had expired, i re-activated with Ms Nosipho Nasamisa within the 30day grace period allowed by Vitality. Nosipho confirmed that the rate i would pay when Alice Lane opened would still be R547 as noted on their system. I have received the call recordings where she confirmed this and gave me assurance that all was in place and fine with my membership. Vitality has confirmed that there was no break in membership on their end. After taking the time to confirm this with Nosipho, i find that i am being asked to pay R800 p/m if i wish to upgrade to Alice Lane?? If Virgin Active could take the time to listen to their OWN call recordings they would see what has been confirmed with the client. This is a mistake on Virgin Active side as confirmed by Vitality. A mistake for which i am paying for as Alice Lane has opened today but i do not have access to this gym at the rate i have signed at, as well as what was communicated and CONFIRMED by Virgin Active. ALL CALLS RECORDED = LEGALLY BINDING = REPUTATIONAL RISK = HONOUR WHAT YOU HAVE COMMUNICATED TO YOUR CLIENT
