MTN Failure to communicate

I recently was let go at my work place, not being paid salary for the past 5 months. ( That's another story)
Whilst I tried the best I could, accounts got behind, my MTN being one of them.
After receiving a final notice due to 2 months payments being missed I contacted MTN via email to arrange the cancellation of the contract as well as a repayment plan. This was done the 19th of November 2013, till date I have received no response and am still waiting on feedback.

On Saturday, 30 November 2013, I was home invaded and reported my phone, with several other items at the nearest SAPS department. I was told to blacklist the phone and contacted MTN immediately to do so, via email.

I put in a claim for my phone at my insurance company but was told that I could only claim when I received the ITC number of the phone, to be provided by MTN.

Today, 9 December 2013, a lady from the MTN Humansdorp Branch let me know that MTN will not provide me with an ITC number until my account is paid.

This is another loss on my part as I do not know what to do, I write this report to give MTN a chance to redeem themselves with me, please contact me via email as soon as possible.
