I have been a vodacom subscriber for the last 15 years and have up until 2 and a half years had decent signal at my home, work and my husbands work. I have virtually no signal presently resulting in impossible to hear calls, calls failed and i am rearly able to use my 3G device to access the internet. I pay Vodacom in the recon of R2000.00 per month to not use their service. They are not too worried about this as my continued complaints have not been addressed except to say they are working on the problem. The tower that serviced my area is visible from an area of our property but the part that sends the signal has apparently been tilted to service another area. There are apparently negotiations for property to erect another tower in our area. When!
