On 4 Nov I contacted (0839001212) to inform MTN Coverage Department that I have absolutely no reception at my new home in Broadacres, Johannesburg. (Ref: 0058951). I was informed that (Lucky) would contact me within 10 working days to come past my home and assess the situation and if MTN could install a booster.
By the 21st of Nov I still heard nothing from Lucky and phoned again. I was assured that my complaint has been escalated and that Lucky would phone me.
Today is the 5th of December, more than a month after my initial phone call and I still have not heard from Lucky. I phoned MTN Coverage Department again today and was informed that Lucky would phone me within the next 5 minutes, this was at 16:40 and I'm not holding my breath.
Lucky is lucky he has a job. I would not allow anyone to do this much damage to my brand. I am so frustrated with MTN at the moment and annoyed with myself that I did not move over to Vodacom when I had to renew my contract.
Understandably no service provider will have 100% reception everywhere, but the manner in which this situation is being dealt with is utterly unprofessional. I can safely say I have never hated a brand this much.
