My complaint is for my brother in law. Saturday 30 November my sister and him went to go upgrade their contracts, they both wanted a Samsung S4 mini, they only had one phone in stock so in agreement my sister took the phone and vodacom said the other phone will be there tomorrow. We had racing at tarlton the whole day so he could go pic the phone up, we arranged for his mom to collect it. When we got home sunday night Christo was so excited about the phone only to find that that the whole where you put the charger in was damaged so bad the charger that they gave him would not fit in the phoned them straight away and highly upset. The consumer act says that you can return damaged goods within 7 days but they are telling him at vodacom that he had damaged the phone in the 5 seconds that he had it and must repair and use it! that is so unfair as he recieved the phone damaged, and his been a loyal customer for about 7 years missed no payments and this is the tratment he gets! im on a vodacom line but i feel i should go somewhere where they are willing to correct the mistaked they made, that phone looked like it was repaired it didnt even have a screen protector on!
