I visited the Vodacom store at Blue Route Mall, Tokai on Saturday (30 Nov 2013.) I had a query with Voadcom with regards to a contract change. My account was thus suspended and when the debit order payment came through on the 29th my service was still suspended hence my visit to the store. Kathleen one of the consultants assisted me by taking my proof of ID and going into the back office for about 30 minutes when I eventually asked one of her colleagues what was taking so long she then came out and said she was waiting for assistance, I waited another 30 minutes after which she asked if I would still be in the mall for a while and that I could come back. When I did after an hour, thinking of giving her enough time, she went on lunch and the consultant who then assisted told me that the contact centre closed at 1pm which was never told to me. I then had to wait another day to unblock my phone and then only I was told that I could have called myself. I feel that the service offered was terrible and the waiting time was extremely tedious. The hostess never once spoke to clients waiting and assured them they would be attended to. I hope the service improves at this branch.
