After my first complaint to hellopeter, Thabang from the Vodacom shop phoned as back the next day to tell us they did find the insurance papers and that it was signed in the first place.

He told us that we now have to pay the arrears on the insurance (since September) and the access fee for the claim now to be processed. And that the sales consultant that made the mistake (Leonie) will have to replace the tablet, by paying cash for it.

So my question is now why we are supposed to pay the arrears on the insurance and the access fee when the consultant is paying cash for the tablet??

Then in actual fact isn't there supposed to be 2 tablets. One from the insurance, and the one from the consultant that was bought cash?

Wouldn't is just be cheaper for the consultant to pay the arrears on the insurance, which was her mistake in the first place, and then process the claim as they would have done in anyway?
