Pay For Something I don't have

In September I got an additional data line however from day one the SIM card was damaged and didn't work, I have been trying in vain two to three times a week to get a micro sim replacement however there is never any stock available,
I get told they only have prepaid micro sims available and thus it won't work on a contract - so then when will these SIM cards be available as I have paid 3 months installments without being able to use the service or data! I therefore demand a response and information as to when SIM cards will be available in order to do a sim swap
