I have been a loyal MTN customer for more than 8 years.
MTN has a data contract with a TV which is an excellent idea, but the execution and planning around it is totally unprofessional.
I upgraded my current data contract to a similar data contract with the TV as mentioned in the title. The date of the upgrade was 18 of June 2013, however its been more than a month now, and I still have not received the TV.
MTN uses a company called Ingram Micro - which is probably the worst company in the world - to supply the TVs with the contract, however they are always "out of stock" and they keep on telling me that they will get stock "soon". "Soon" has been more than a month now.
Because my contractual agreement is with MTN and not Ingram Micro, MTN needs to supply the TV to me and soon (within this week), or else I will cancel my contract and will not pay a cent in fees, because the contract breach is not on my part.
MTN please get rid of Ingram Micro, they are destroying your company's image.
