Yesterday 27 Nov my phone prompted me on Blackberry World that I need to update to version 8 BBM.I then said yes to upgrade, when the upgrade was done the phone prompted me to restart, i said yes restart. The phone loaded but does not get further to where the blackberry trademark comes up and says "Original Blackberry Smartphone". I'm a single mom and live in a complex where I must phone the gate from my phone only to be able to go in or out the complex. I cannot be without my phone as my son is only 4yrs old and the school calls me if something is wrong. I obviously cannot access any phone numbers on my phone and are absolutely annoyed at this point as I don't even know how I will get into my complex tonight as I work till 7pm and not much cars goes in at that time. I will have to sit and wait till I dont know when! I dont know who should get this complaint, who will be fixing my phone TODAY or send me new phone as I tried lodging complaint to Blackberry but it tells me they never respond. Seeing that I am Cell c and I'm sure Cell C has a contact at blackberry please forward immediately to the correct person. This needs to really go to the papers and radio! Genine Raats 0219441000 (w)
