I have been a client of MTN for 17 years and because I spend more than R4000 per month I was deemed to be a Yelo Genie (prestige Client) for about 6 years or more.
I have 11 other accounts with MTN as well.
As usual I wanted to do my yearly upgrade which was not a problem in the beginning. I asked for a decent deal since other service providers have better structured deals.
I was promised a substantial credit becuase a better deal would then be included and since my data usage was soo high. I heard nothing thereafter, three weeks later I was told Roxanne Oxford a branch manager would call me also I was told I was no longer a prestige Client and hence could not upgrade yearly.
In my time with MTN I spent an accumulated R1 million easily.
I tried to call Roaxanne and the Provinicial Manager Bernadine Bald the receptionist promised she would get someone to call me but 2 weeks later still nothing.
I have been dealing with a client liaison at the branch at canal walk he has been very help full but I have still received no credit as promised.
I have had many mishaps with MTN in the last 17 years and I have always been accommodating but this is truly in-excusable.
