I want a new prestige banke

Prestige Banking is so pointless. I'm in the process of buying a house. I am paying half cash and half with a bond. I have already put the cash amount into a moneymarket account. Everything is ready to go but i need a guarantee for the money in the moneymarket account.

It should be simple right? I actually went through to Randburg branch to meet with Moiponi on Tuesday 16 April (3 weeks ago). I filled in the all the forms and was told it would take a week (and cost about R1000!).

Anyway, its almost 3 weeks later and I have heard nothing. I have sent several emails to Moiponi but she doesn't bother to respond. It ironic that is called Prestige Banking - if this is what a 'Prestige' client gets, I would hate to know what a regular client gets.

I have also called the Prestige Line (as you cant call your banker directly - how crazy) and after I explained to the consultant the problem and asked him to find out what the story is and call me back, he told me that, while he thought this was a perfectly reasonable request, their systems cant handle it.

So to be honest I don't know what to do. I just want to know when I will get this Guarantee.
