The Vodacom Shop in Nelson Mandela Square (Sandton) was contacted to do my cellphone upgrade to the new iPhone 5S 16 gig. I have to use these stores due to a trade in that wish to do. I was told by the sales consultant that they have stock but it is reserved for new customers only.
Where is the Vodacom's loyalty to its valued loyal customers? I am listed as a high value customer on the Vodacom customer database yet I am given no preferential treatment to any new customer? Where is the benefit to being loyal supporter? I have been loyal customer on the current number since around 2000 and have other numbers in my personal and business capacity.
I did not consider any other network as I was comfortable with the service offered, maybe this blinkered mindset needs to change and I should research the other available networks. Any advice from anyone out there, will be appreciated.
To think I was just considering the business option of using the vodacom switchboard!!
Further, i have to resort to lodging a complaint on this website because one gets referred from the customer care line, to their manager to the Team Leader, all of whom do not have the authority to assist.
