Mother-in-laws hanset was faulty. Took it to Fourways store where it was replaced with a different model as it was still under warranty. New/refurbished device has the same problem where the microphone is not working. Called the call centre and e-mailed customer services who advised I would have to take the instrument to a Neotel facility to be checked/repaired. Went to Midrand, 44 Old Pretoria Road. The young Lady at the counter insisted that they could not look at the telephone without a written letter from the account holder. I queried this as this policy was not mentioned at the Fourways store, or by the people at the telephonic helpdesk, nor via the e-mail response I received. The lady was extremely rude and ignored me continuing her conversation with her colleague next to her. This is just absoloute bad service, and has caused me unneccessary runaround and waste of time and fuel. Pathetic.
