Dismal failure on many fronts

My problems with the MTN data contract started when I got the message "Mtn.exe has stopped working" in November 2012. This was when my contract modem stopped working. Four trips to the Rivonia branch later, the problem seemed unsolvable, meaning I was unable to use the data on the contract and yet the then R388 debit orders kept going off my account. I was prepared to ignore the fact that R388 per month for 2 gig was exorbitant but finally sanity prevailed and I decided to cancel the headache on 13 July 2013. Seemingly this nightmare will not go away as the debit order is still going off my account (last one was on 1 November 2013). When I cancelled the contract I was throwing the towel in but now I realize that since November 2012, I did not receive any value for my money and now rightly realize that I should claim a refund for the unrealized value since November 2012 (R3820, 92). Perhaps this action will finally stop the debit orders from going off my account.
