On 12 August Vodacom informed me of a Credit Note to the value of R658, 80 (ex VAT) for a mix-up with my cell phone account and that of my wife's. Then, they turn around and say no, it should have been be a debit note, and they subtract the money from my account, without stating even for which cellphone it was. After various visits to Vodacom Canal Walk, a Vodacom outlet in the CBD, Cape Town, various calls to the Vodacom number 082 111 and 082 1946, and e-mails to Mounier de Vries at Vodacom, no answer forthcoming. Why do Vodacom award me a credit note, but turn around and turn it into a debit note, and grab the money. I get no answers. Really poorest of poor service
