POOR SERVICE AT CELL C FOURWAYS

I called Cell C Fourways BEFORE going in store to find out what would be needed to open a new contract and port a prepaid number across. The prepaid number was a contract taken out in my mother's name on my behalf. I have had use of the number for the past 10 years. This was all explained to Thami at the Fourways Mall branch. He provided that my mother would need to email confirmation of the porting of her number into a new contract in my name. The email was sent to the branch but when I got there to open the contract I was told we needed a copy of her ID as well. Obviously I couldn't proceed so I attempted again today at the Randburg Branch along with her ID, as told by Fourways, but they have now provided further security checks are required. Needless to say this all could have been arranged had I been told on the phone initially when I asked what needed to be done! I have completely wasted my time dealing with the 2 various branches so far. Please educate your employees as to what is required of customers for them to achieve whatever it is they need to achieve! Basically my initial call to find out what was needed BEFORE coming in was a complete waste of time. 0114428609
