Investigationtion Failure

Last month an unknown amount was deducted from my account by Vodacom. I phoned the call centre to query this amount. I was told that someone had bought a Samsung Tablet using my details. I was told to obtain and affidavit from the police station and fax it back to them and they will commence investigation. I got the affidavit the same day and faxed back to them, and received a success reply. I then went to my bank to reverse the payment. This month I got a new statement with an additional amount plus the Tablet amount; when I phoned Vodacom last week they didn't know about the investigation. I re-faxed the affidavit three times last week and spoke to multiple people with multiple referrals trying to get some help and none of them knew what I was talking about. I was then told that someone will call me back "His name is Edward". I still haven't received a reply. I am not prepared to pay for something I didn't buy for all I know the might be happening within the company.
