I recently upgraded my 2mbps line to 4mbps through my ISP WEBAFRICA and since upgrading my speed has dropped to below 2mbps during the day. I cannot run a business from home with such bad speeds. Webafrica said it is an overpopulated DSLAM and Telkom doesn't know when it will be fixed. So I went into the telkom shelly beach branch and asked who I could write a formal complaint to and the lady behind the counter laughed and said that I couldn't do that. She then told me that they "get lots of complaints about that exchange" and "maybe it will be fixed some time" but that's it. I can see the exchange from my garden so it is not a distance issue. My ISP refuses to help me any further and as my line is organized through webafrica I feel so helpless. When will this be fixed as I am paying for a service that I am not getting, infact it is worse now than it was!
