I have a prepaid contract with mtn, which until today was relatively hassle free. I noticed today that my usual allotted airtime has disappeared very quickly. When I eventually got through to their customer service I was told that I had subscribed to a service on November 2nd. This is very hard to believe as I only use this phone to make calls and text so where did the subscription come from? I also did not give any permission to subscribe to anything! The exact same thing has happened to both my colleague as well as my fiance. Oddly enough both mtn subscribers! fishy to say the least! I have to other phones on contract with a different network with which I use the Internet daily and yet this non sense has not occurred on either of them! Desperately seeking answers to this!
