Before the current fault logged on 12 August I had 2 previous faults that have just been closed without being resolved dating back to May 2013. All I hear from Telkom is that there is a Network fault and that there is a congestion on the exchange. I also heard that they are busy upgrading the exchange. However for months my ADSL keeps on dropping (about 8 to 10 times per day). I then have to make a actual telephone call on my landline phone to kind of reset the line (strange). The fault has been escalated to the technical department many many times by myself and my ISP but no reaction. This is the typically shocking service of a SA para-statal and the best argument for privatization of Telkom (see Europe). I am absolutely disgusted by the lack of feedback and action coming from Telkom.
