Zero Productive Feedback or Willingness to Help

We reported that our internet connection is slow and has been intermittently disconnecting. In addition to this, we provided a report showing that our line had disconnected 34 times in the space of 2 hours. This is the regular normal state of our ADSL line.

Michael, your technician performed various tests on the line and could not report conclusively on what was causing the fault. Michael then informed us that he inadvertently did not enter a job number for our fault and requested that we re-report the fault to the call centre.

In 2013 alone, we have logged between 15 and 20 faults on this line. Telkom either says there is a problem at the exchange, or they reset the ports. Telkom have swapped our 2 ADSL lines, we have checked our ISP connection, reset routers and modems, the lot.

On 6 May 2013, Telkom technician Johnny referenced that he had done all he could and suggested that a new line be pulled. This never resulted in any action being taken.

The lack of productive feedback and assistance from Telkom is extremely frustrating. We are trying to run a business and we pay Telkom to provide us with a service that at this point in time is more down than up.
