I took my phone in for repairs and was informed that it would take a maximum of two weeks to repair. After the two weeks were past, and I had still had no contact from MTN Hyde Park, I contacted them to try and figure out what was happening. The woman on the phone was very dismissive, suggesting that it will take another 6 weeks for the issue to be resolved. When I asked why I was informed that it would be a maximum of two weeks, she told me that I was wrong.

I then contact the service centre directly on 083 900 0349, where they informed me that the phone was to be swapped out under warranty, and that stock would be ready for collection on Tuesday 12 November 2013. I called at the specified time at which I was instructed to, and again was told that the previous set of information that had been supplied to me was wrong, and that there is currently no time frame that they can give me in accordance to when my device will be fixed.

This type of conduct is unacceptable, I have been an MTN customer since 2001, and have never received such appalling service. I have been extremely disappointed in this entire situation, and am seriously considering changing service provider after this.
