Apart from the fact that Telkom takes 30 minutes on average to answer a call, they are utterly useless in my opinion. Running a monopolistic business means they can call the shots. I recently took out a Telkom Simple deal offering 5 gigs of data 5 gigs of "promotional" data thinking this was good value for money. Telkom have charged me for the extra 5 gigs "promotional" data which was meant to be free. I have a debit order going off my account which means that Telkom are guaranteed of receiving their funds. They are the public. I am pretty sure I am not the only one alone in this. Their service is pathetic. Furthermore, it took Telkom 2 months for them to actually deliver a working modem... how will SA ever move forward if customers receive such bad service. The emails you send to customer service disappears into a black hole... hope hello peter helps...
