Is there anything more frustrating than not receiving help on a query? I work for a company in Polokwane and part of the service that we offer our clients is a feature where you can monitor your alarm system via sms. To make the system effective a dedicated sim card was purchased from Vodacom and a weekly payment was scheduled with our bank to ensure that we never run out of sms's, seeing as it is a crucial service for some of our clients.
In the last two weeks it has happened twice where the sms bundles were not loaded by Vodacom even though the payment has gone through, which leaves us with egg on our faces when the clients don't get their required information. So we launch a complaint with customer services and finally get a reply on the 8/11/2013 that the query has been resolved. Guess what, on the date another payment went off and again no sms bundle was loaded. Now we are short a total of 4500 sms's which we have paid for. So I pick up the phone and try to speak to the consultant who sent the mail, 5 people, 3 numbers and an hour later and I get told that she is "offline" for the next two days. So I try to speak to the next guy, 4 failed transfers later and i gave up.!!
