I have my personal contract with Vodacom, as well as one for business that is registered in the company's name I work for. I've registered my work phone number on the myVodacom web page, and linked my personal number to that. I've noticed that my personal banking details was the same for the business number as well as my private number. I've contacted vodacom to make sure that only my private number is linked to my personal bank account. they confirmed that only my private number is linked to my personal bank account. On the end of October both accounts, personal and the total business amount (R 167 000), went of my personal banking account. My bank did reverse the transaction. I've contacted vodacom again regarding this, and nobody are able to assist me, I've handed this over to our cellphone administrator in the company, and she is also having issues to get an answer out of vodacom. My credit record is being affected by this, as well as I have to pay the penalties at the bank because of the reverse transaction / unavailable funds. How difficult can it be to just to confirm if the bank account on the business details are the same as my personal number?
