When I inquired about my upgrade date I was told I could upgrade the 1/11/2013 & received and sms to that same effect, no where did it state that it was actually and "early upgrade" is it so difficult to make that fact clear either when speaking to your accounts or when an sms is received.
Due to that fact that I assumed that because I was due for the upgrade that it meant I could also terminate my contract I went ahead and took out my new contract with another provider only to be told on the Monday that I was still liable for my current MTN contract until March2014.
I now have 2 contracts running simultaneously and find it disgusting that MTN cannot train their call centre to make this fact clear when people call. If I had known it was an "EARLY" upgrade I would have never taken out the new contract. I would like this sorted out because I will not be held liable for your companies incompetence!
