I have a Cell C speed stick, until 4 months ago it worked well. However, things changed; I can't connect to the internet, it gives 'timed out' reports or 'server not available'.
I emailed Cell C repeatedly & received nothing more than automated responses. Finally in September Funiwe called - I explained the problem, she promised to get back to me. I'm waiting.
I called back & was told it has to be handed over to Technical Services ... I filled in the forms and waited. Nothing!
Finally, last Monday I lost it. I phoned & was put through to Tsepo - I explained the problem and he promised to send a technician. Which he did.
On Weds Nathan came to check the problem out. He admitted that the connection was really slow. He ran through a few diagnostics & then left assuring me that he would call before day end with the verdict. He did.
The jist of the conversation was ... 'I've got bad news for you, you are no longer in the networked area'. My question, 'where does that leave me'. His reply 'well we are planning to put up another tower in the future.' My reply 'when? '. 'Sorry - I'm not sure'.
So, I am compelled to pay for a contract that services are not provided!
