All I had to do was do a simple upgrade...
2 hours later... I STILL don't have my new phone.
Going to MTN in HILLCREST was an absolute nightmare.
Firstly, We were not greeted or acknowledged when entering the store.
Two staff members (guys) were sitting slumped down behind the counter in their comfy chairs and "trying to assist 2 clients". They were so fast asleep that they didn't notice that the shop had filled up and the queue had gone out the door.
There was absolutely NO URGENCY to assist anyone in the store. When I confronted them about it, they just looked at each other and shook their heads and carried on with their snail pace.
Needless to say, waiting for 45 min and not getting assisted was not acceptable.
(Clearly their chairs were too warm and comfy to move around).
Now I know why everyone is cancelling their MTN contracts.
Rather go where service comes first.
