I have been informed by Cell C after I enquired about my bill that an amount of R12.29 excluding VAT is deducted from my account on a daily basis from the day my contract was activated (February 2013). Cell C told me I have to call "Opera" as Cell C have no control over subscription services. I have ever heard of Opera and have not subscribed for any services from them. I received a telephone number from Cell C to call Opera. I have contacted Opera and was informed that this service was activated in August 2011 on my number and Cell C will have to contact them to resolve this issue.

I called CellC which told me this will be escalated for resolution and I will be contacted within 72 hours.

I have a major problem with this issue as my phone cannot be used to make calls until this is resolved as my capped limit has been reached due to this subscription which Cell C did not clear when they recycled this number and issued it to me in February on a new contact.

Cell C is not willing in my view to assist to resolve this issue immediately.
