I upgraded on Wednesday 23/10. I got a Huawei P6 phone. I was told to do a sim swop. I paid my R132 and was told to charge the phone and power it up. Phone showed only emergency calls possible and that there is no mobile service. Saturday 26/10 my wife went back to store and was told by Michele that I must use my old phone until battery died and that she is waiting on somebody that works with her to come and authorise something. Nothing else.
Four days later I have a dead old phone and a new phone that can only make emergency calls. Maybe I should call police and report a of R132.
I have a seven day warranty on the phone. This seven days is almost over and I have not even used my phone.
I am a MTN customer since 1999 and I have just upgraded my last MTN contract. Maybe it is time to try Vodacom.
I NEED THIS PROBLEM SOLVED. I WORK 57 KM FROM A MTN SHOP AND IT CLOSE AT 5PM.
