On 17 October, I complained on this site about incorrect billing beyond the contract period and beyond the date on which the service was available. Cell C replied a day later and assured me the matter was escalated to Busi. Yesterday, Friday 25 October, I received a call from the attorneys, not Cell C. All they were interested in is whether or not I have settled the amount outstanding. I told the attorneys that I WILL NOT SETTLE THE ACCOUNT as it is incorrect. I refuse to pay for services I did not receive. In fact Cell C owes me money! No word from Busi yet, not even a message. If this is not sorted out soon, I will have to take it to Consumer Protection, Sunday times and any and every other avenue available to me. This is simply not right to expect the consumer to pay for the telecommunication giant's (Cell C) administrative errors. I am certain that this incident is not isolated to me alone.
