I have been a subscriber on contract with MTN for over 15 years.
My current contract is "Anytime 750".
I want to downgrade to a smaller package (200 or 350) which I can do after my contract expires on Nov 6, 2013.
I have been informed that I have accumulated over R3700 worth of airtime that I haven't used.
All good so far.
Regis at MTN Plettenberg Bay informs me that I will lose all this airtime when I downgrade.
When I called 808 they informed me that I can have 5 months worth of whatever package I downgrade to.
Both said if I upgrade that I can keep my minutes.
The facebook site says I will lose the airtime if I change platforms (not specifying up or down grade).
This smacks of dishonesty and I believe that as I have paid for this airtime that I should be able to keep it no matter what contract I switch to.
The fact that I get a different story from whomever I speak to at MTN leads me to believe that they are trying to confuse the issue or someone is deliberately lying to me.
