I have just moved into a new house, which had a phone line in 30 days before I moved in, when I phoned to have that line linked to our house, I get told there is no infrastructure in my area, Meanwhile there is a Telkom box outside my house and there are lines in my house.

I live in an area that has had no new infrastructure for about 20 years. so how can there be not one line available? It seems like an easy way out so that someone does not have to come out and do some work, they would rather say "theres no infrastructure", and then they dont have to work.

This is ridiculous!
