Virgin Mobile is making me tear my hair out!
I've tried to cancel my contract with them as it's meant to end at the end of October. After a few tries, store visits, many call centre hours wasted - I was told that I would be contacted when my contract cancellation went through. HOWEVER I asked them to confirm that they would retain my airtime that I've already paid for until end October, and then would switch over to pay-as-you-go. I received no call, but did get a nasty surprise when I was away for work in the middle of nowhere and couldn't make any call..because my airtime had been cancelled - all R200 / thereabouts. I called the call centre to reinstate this airtime, and was told it would take 24hrs. This is over a week ago and it has STILL NOT BEEN DONE! I now have to buy pay-as-you-go airtime because some banana just cancelled my airtime. I have called the call centre 3 times about this now, was told yesterday that it would take just 25mins to come back onto my account, and... I'm still on the phone as I type this. In fact, what's this? I've just been cut off.
