Telkom Account Adjustment on Closed Account

We have a Telkom home line account 359900324418, In June last year the account was transferred from my wife's name into mine and now a adjustment is done and this amount is charged. The entire account along with the adsl contract was transferred in June to my name. Final account was paid in June the amount of R227.90. Now on 4th December they bill the account R992.55. This is ridiculous, someone at Telkom pls provide details as to why the account was billed with this amount
