Last weekend i had to upgrade my cell phone and what a night mare it turned out to be. Vodacom Canal Walk has combined 3 shops into one with an average waiting period of over an hour with no chairs or anything and too many managers walking around that could be helping and assisting customers. After an hour i was served and got a new phone but was not given any advice on the data side of the contract, on specific things to look out for or anything. They counldnt get rid of clients quick enough. The next day my husband upgraded at Cell C Bayside and got the same phone. WOW what a pleasure. Tthey gave him and me advice, helped both of us set up our phones, told us what to look out for and more. I still do not know what will happen when my data bundle runs out, if it just stops or if it carries on at premium rates. My husband was advised to get a bundle at reduced rates for R15.00 which will kick in when his normal data runs out and thereafter he will be charged at reduced rates. Nothing like that from Vodacom. Come one guys its time you got your act together and start looking after your customers properly.
